Hi,

I want to repaint a room using Virtuoso.  I have a few questions regarding this:
1.  the room has both a concrete and wooden wall, can I use Virtuoso for both walls?
2.  the old paint on the walls are peeling off already, what do I need to do to before applying Virtuoso? Do I need primer coating, masonry, etc?
3. Is one coat of Virtuoso enough to achieve a very nice look already?
4.  How much gallon do I need for a 21.8 sq meter area?
5.  Does Virtuoso require a special type of paint brush, etc?

Many thanks in advance.

Dear Obel,

Thank you for your interest in our products and services!

Allow me to answer your queries point-by-point as listed:

1.     The room has both a concrete and wooden wall, can I use Virtuoso for both walls?

Yes provided that you prepare them with the appropriate primer and putty preparation suited for each substrate.

2.  The old paint on the walls are peeling off already, what do I need to do to before applying Virtuoso? Do I need primer coating, masonry, etc?

You might have to depending on whether the bare substrate is visible upon removal of the peeling off paint.

3. Is one coat of Virtuoso enough to achieve a very nice look already?
At least 2 coats of the product is suggested to fully benefit from its features.

4.  How much gallon do I need for a 21.8 sq meter area?
Answered by the paragraph below.

5.  Does Virtuoso require a special type of paint brush, etc?

Not really, but using a “baby” roller made out of foam usually gets a good film build similar to that of a sprayed effect.

Kindly click on the “Choose Your Paint” icon on our main website: www.boysen.com.ph. This should get you started with the options on how to finish your project. The site should be able to help you also with estimating your actual paint requirements by clicking on the “Paint Calculator” at the bottom of each product selection and lets you visualize the effect of colors combined through the “Mix-and-Match” function. We hope that you would find our newly improved website helpful.

Should you need more clarification on the matter, please feel free to contact us again. Thank you for your continued patronage!

Very truly yours,
