Healthy Home
Do you know that the air inside your home could be more dangerous to your health than the air outside? The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reported, levels of indoor air pollutants may be 100 time higher than outdoor levels.
Some reports of ill health seem to be linked to spending time in a building but with no specific identified cause - a condition known as "Sick Building Syndrome (SBS)". A World Health Organization report suggests that up to 30 percent of new and remodeled buildings worldwide suffer from SBS due to indoor air quality.
Experts believe that bacteria, moulds, and fungi circulating within interior environments may cause a large percentage of SBS cases.
